GPSC organized IHMMSEC Workshop in Vigo, June 2016

GPSC organized the 4th ACM Information Hiding and Multimedia Security Worshop, that was held in Vigo, Galicia, Spain on June 20-22, 2016. This workshop is one of the premier conferences in the area of multimedia security, and it attracts researchers from all over the world. The workshop focuses on information hiding topics, such as watermarking, steganography, steganalysis, anonymity, privacy, hard-to-intercept communications, and covert/subliminal channels.

Fernando Pérez-González gave a talk on Adversarial Signal Processing at the Royal Flemish Academy of Arts and Sciences

Prof. Fernando Pérez-González gave an invited talk on September 28, 2015 at the Royal Flemish Academy on Arts and Sciences, Brussels, Belgium. The Academy organizes the 6th Contact Forum on "Coding Theory and Cryptography", where Prof. Pérez-González will speak about "adversarial signal processing". This emerging topic blends together information theory, game theory and detection theory to develop optimal solutions to signal processing problems in which there is an adversary trying to make malevolent usage of the system.
