Carlos Mosquera is a Professor in the Signal Theory and Communications Department at the University of Vigo. He received degrees from the University of Vigo and Stanford University. He has been a visiting scholar at the European Space Agency and at several international universities. He is a member of SatNEx (the Satellite Network of Experts), a research network supported by the European Space Agency, where he has contributed to numerous collaborative research projects. He has participated in the launch of several technological initiatives such as SPARC, a foundry for photonic components, or GRADIANT, a technological center for advanced telecommunications, with 250+ employees. From 2017 to 2020, he served as Director of the atlanTTic Research Center for Telecommunications at the University of Vigo.
